| Backstory (Fenix's Summary) |
| Co star of the Fatal Fury series. His foster father Jeff Bogard was murdered by Geese Howard when he was still very young. Fueled by vengeful emotions, he traveled to japan where he trained under Hanzo Shiranui to become stronger. He developed a relationship with Hanzo's daughter Mai Shiranui, and befriended Joe Higashi. When Geese re-appeared he returned to Southtown to exact revenge. He and Terry Bogard are brothers. |

| It is unknown if Andy and Terry are actual blood relatives, or just happened to be adopted by the same man. They look similar, and have similar personalities, but it has never explicitely been stated. |
| Though he has been in a long standing relationship with Mai, he does not seem overly interested in her. He is constantly shown to be hesistant to and downright frightened by her advances. |
| Because of his slightly "apathetic" attitude towards her advances, it is unknown if Mai and Andy's relationship is sexual in nature or not. Based on Mai's rather seductive nature and their special introduction in KoF '99, I am inclined to believe that even Andy could not hold out, but unlike some of the other KoF relationships, their is no clear evidence to support that theory.(*) |
| Apparently early on, SNK intended for Andy to in fact be the legitimate son of Geese Howard. There were several early promotional posters and ads that made note of it, and also Andy's physical features were a lot more similar to Geese's. It is largely irrelevant, given that such information has never been officially stated, and even the official promos were changed prior to the games release so I'm guessing SNK changed their minds. |
| Not really a fact, but rather irony. Andy is known to be the more rash and emotional of the two Bogards, yet he has the most resolve towards training his fighting skills. Likewise, he was supposedly the more broke up of the two over Jeff's death, yet he has never once fought Geese Howard, and he has also done the best job at getting over it / moving on.(*) |
