| Sometime prior to KoF 2k1, the President of Nests died of unknown causes. At this point, Igniz created an illusion of the man, and through him was able to direct the company towards his own ambitions. He used all the data collected from KoF99 and 2000 to become what he believed to be the most powerful being in existence, and used KoF01 to bring his enemies to him and destroy them once and for all. It is unknown if the events of KoF 2000 were part of his plan or not.(*) |
