Backstory (Fenix's Summary)
Current heir to the Stroheim bloodline, Krauser is regarded as one of the most powerful people alive. When he felt his time had come, he challenged his father to a battle, and killed him. Since then he has reigned as lord of the Stroheim bloodline and sought to defeat any of those he thinks challenge worthy.

Tournament Participation
Fatal Fury 2:Having heard of Geese Howard's defeat, at the hands of Terry Bogard, he hosts the King of Fighters tournament to draw him out. Terry made it to the finals, and Krauser was defeated.
KoF '96:Recruited by Geese Howard to the "Boss" team. It is unknown if he played any hand in the assasination attempt.(*)
Real Bout Fatal Fury 2:I cannot confirm his activies during this time, but it is entirely possible his appearance in this game is uncanon.(*)
Current Status:Unknown. He vanished after the KoF '96 tournament, and has not been seen (in a canon game) since.

Other Facts and Information
As a child, Geese sought to assasinate their father and young Krauser thwarted him quite sufficiently. Ironically, unlike everyone else who has ever defeated Geese, he never saught revenge against Krauser. It is entirely possible that (at least until Terry beat him) Geese did not confidently believe he could beat his elder brother, or perhaps that by killing their father, Krauser had in some way earned his respect.(*)
It was believed / rumored that after his defeat at the hands of Terry Bogard, Krauser commited suicide rather than live with the acknowledgement of defeat. It is unknown what he did in the interim between his FF2 and KoF96 appearances, and likewise, it is still unknown what happened to him after KoF96. He did appear in Real Bout 2, but it still up in the air just how much of that game is canon and how much isn't.(*)

(*) = Information I cannot fully confirm.
