| Backstory (Fenix's Summary) |
| Terry is the primary hero of the Fatal Fury series. His foster father Jeff Bogard was murdered by Geese Howard when he was still very young. Since then he has devoted his life to fighting for what is right, most specifically getting revenge on Geese. UNCONFIRMED: Shortly after Jeff's death, he was taken in and trained by Tung Fu Rue. (*) He and Andy Bogard are brothers. |

| Fatal Fury 1: | Single handedly defeated Billy Kane, Geese's right hand man. He faced off against Geese on the top floor of his tower, and sent Geese plummeting to his doom. |

| KoF '97: | Still a member of "Italy" team. |
| Real Bout Fatal Fury: | Once again fought with Geese on the top level of his tower, and knocked him over the side. Though at the last moment, Terry attempted to save his life, Geese would not accept his pity, and plummeted once again to his death. |
| Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: | I cannot confirm his activies during this time.(*) |
| KoF '99: | Recieved a direct invitation to the tournament, participated as a member of the "Garou / Southtown" Team. He is thought to have died when Krizalid's base collapses, but he reappears just in time for the next tournament. |
| KoF '00: | Still a member of the "Garou / Southtown" Team. After the destruction of South Town, he went missing again until the start of KoF '01. |

| Other Facts and Information |
| It is unknown if Andy and Terry are actual blood relatives, or just happened to be adopted by the same man. They look similar, and have similar personalities, but it has never explicitely been stated. |
| Through various appearances in anime, comics, and games, Terry's trademark cap has said many different things, including "SNK", "Neo Geo", "Fatal Fury", or nothing at all. |
| UNCONFIRMED: During his first fight with Geese Howard, Terry actually accidentally knocked him off by performing his most powerful technique, the Power Geyser. It is believed that though his heart was full of vengeance, Terry has always felt remorse for the outcome of his battles with Geese, hence the Rock adoption. (*) |
| UNCONFIRMED: Though it may be entirely aesthetic and not plot related, Terry's MOTW transformation begins around the KoF2k1 time. That game is where he gets his new voices for his moves, and also Rock Howard appears in one of his win poses. I have to believe that his "breaks" between 99 and 2k, and 2k and 2k1, may have something to do with it, but I have no proof. Perhaps he didn't want his brother / girlfriend to know that he'd taken in the son of his arch-nemesis and the most evil man in Southtown?(*) |
| Terry has an ongoing rivalry with Ryo Sakazaki and the Kyokugenryu clan in general. The true reasons have never been stated, but I am led to believe it began somewhere around Fatal Fury 2, since in Fatal Fury Special (FF2's "remake") Ryo had a special guest appearance (*). Ryo similarily made a guest appearance in Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition though, as Mr Karate. It is ironic that they should butt heads, considering both of them share a common enemy (Geese). |
| Terry is the only original Fatal Fury character to make a playable appearance in Garou: MOTW. In KoF2003, Terry dons the outfit that he will wear up until at least that time. His hat was actually given to Chung, a character from Kizuna Tag Encounter, though wether that happened between KoF2k1 and 2k3 is still open to speculation (*). |
| In Fatal Fury : The Motion Picture, Terry is shown playing a game at Neo Geo Land. You never get to seen the game action, but if you listen you can hear that he is playing Fatal Fury 2 / Special. He is not only playing as himself in the game, but he actually loses. A kid nearby tells him he's obviously not very good at it. |
